The boat has recently been but is not currently advertised for sale. The overall sale description was as follows:
“DRAFT SPECIFICATIONS Accommodation : 6/7 berths. Double berth crew cabin. Main sleeping cabin with 2 good size bunks. Toilet compartment, wash room. Wheelhouse, Galley, Saloon and aft cockpit. Inventory : Gas fridge, cooker, GPS, steering compass, log, auto-pilot, VHF radio, Chart plotter, depth sounder, ALL OF THE NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT IS FITTED BUT NOT IN USE-CONDITION UNKNOWN. Shore line, anchor and winch, spot light. Eberspacher ducted air heating. BSC May 2013. Antifouled Aug 2010. Comments: Sea Dawn is a Classic Rampart 48, Mahogany on Rock Elm with Iroko decks, a twin helm model with open aft cockpit, built in 1960. She should be considered as a project.”
In 2008 the boat was listed as lot 641 in Bonhams Auction held on the 19th July at Henley.
