On a bright, breezy day in early September, three Ramparts (Penny Jane, Star of Killarney and Highland Beauty) made a rendez-vous in Chichester Harbour for a couple of hours’ manoeuvring to enable professional filming by a drone flown from the deck of Highland Beauty. Under our Commodore’s expert direction, formations were executed by the three little ships and some exciting film footage created, some of which is available here. More will eventually follow. This event was requested by a colleague organisation, the Sussex Motor Yacht Club, which is making a film of motor yachts, so the Ramparts were pleased to show off their finery.
